Oswego freshman forward Eric Selleck (Shanley, Ont.) was named the 2008-09 SUNYAC Rookie of the Year and honorable mention for the all-tournament team. In conference play, he scored nine goals and ten assists, as the Lakers (17-7-1, 11-4-1) worked their way to the No. 2 seed in the SUNYAC Playoffs. Twice this year Selleck earned SUNYAC Rookie of the Week honors (Feb. 2 and Nov. 24).
