Different from the regular season, a great summer hockey camp experience should be both a mix of fun and serious training without the pressures of the season. To reach the maximum growth within your sport during the summer , you do not need to skate all summer, investing in a camp or camps where you are going to truly learn and improve your skills and game play is the key. The other necessity to a hockey summer growth spurt is conditioning. If you want to succeed in hockey than you must improve your skills off the ice as well as on the ice. If you are really dedicated to hockey there is much hockey homework that can be done at home. In the summer kids have the time, energy, and the beautiful sunshine to encourage them to get out onto the driveway and shoot pucks, stick handle and go for a jog around the block. Encourage your child to make the most of the awesome opportunity for growth in their game during the summer while having fun without the pressures of the regular hockey season. A hockey career is earned through hard work and dedication and a Good Summer Camp helps build the foundation!

The Oswego State Athletic Department has announced that the Oswego State men's hockey game versus Plattsburgh on Saturday, Jan. 30, is sold out, including student seats and standing-room spaces. Fans still wishing to see the game may catch the action via webcast , Campus Channel 10, or Local Access Cable Channel 96. The game may also be heard at WNYO 88.9 FM .
Game time is slated for 7 p.m. Tickets are still available for Oswego State versus Potsdam on Friday night at 7 p.m. Laker fans are encouraged to wear white for the Plattsburgh game to show their support for the men's hockey team. The Oswego State Athletic Department will also be handing out white towels to the first
2,000 fans to further create white-out conditions at both Friday and Saturday night?s games.
